About Yograsya
Yograsya is founded by Deepti Sehgal, a South Asian international Yoga Teacher from the lineage of T Krishnamacharya.
With 1000+ hours of training in classical authentic Indian Yoga under the guidance of internationally acclaimed Yoga & Ayurveda teachers, and 15+ years of experience, Deepti created YOGRASYA, a tradition-oriented Yogic wellness space to propagate authentic Indian Yoga & Ayurveda practices as a way of life for inner balance and outer radiance.
At Yograsya, classes flow from ancient yoga traditions, where each class is designed to align energy, physical movement and breath amidst serene environment of the shala. Our classes have a dedicated focus on yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation & Yogic cleansing (Shat Karmas) practices. The shala integrates traditional yoga styles including classical Hatha from Sivananda lineage, Vinyasa Krama from T Krishnamacharya lineage, Yin Yoga inspired from the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine & learnings with Paul Grilley, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga & Ayurvedic Yoga to balance body energetics.
Yograsya Ayurveda & Yoga Shala fosters a community-building environment and incorporates a blend of yoga practice with Ayurveda & macrobiotic diet wellness workshops & programs.
At the shala we conduct cooking classes that teach to use food as medicine based on ancient principles of diet and nutrition.

Yograsya comes from ‘Rasya’, the essence and ‘Yoga’, the union. Together ‘Yograsya’ symbolizes the essence of your being that emerges from the oneness of body & mind and deep inner harmony. Yograsya shala is a sacred space dedicated to yoga traditions that cultivate inner beauty and energetic balance.
Traditional yoga is a ritual of purification, constantly balancing the nervous system, naturally brining about balance in our hormonal activity that controls the body chemistry & internal communication between body systems. At the root level, yoga creates balance in every system of the body & unites the body & mind. It stimulates & balances the prana, the life force which impacts every function in the human body including the smallest unit of the body, the cells.
Yograsya approaches yoga practice from this space of understanding. After each class, you leave rejuvenated, charged, stress-free and radiant from inside-out.

At Yograsya, we focus on deep rooted aspects of health & wellbeing. Our focus is not just the muscular health that is the most 'worked-out layer' of the body in the exercising world. Our focus through yoga practices from the tradition is to target the deeper tissues of the body with strong focus on detox with the stimulation of diaphragm & lymphatic system, releasing & healing the connective tissue, fascia, tendons &
ligaments for body flexibility, better range of motion & skeletal health, relaxing the nervous system to bring body to a state of inner balance, balancing the hormones for optimal communication between body systems, strengthening & toning the muscles with strength practices, improving circulation and releasing stress with breath practices & meditation.
